MAKING SENSE OF
MENOPAUSE:
Perimenopause, Menopause, Midlife:
In your 40s or early 50s, a subtle shift often begins…
Many of the women I work with are somewhere on this menopause continuum- from early perimenopause to post-menopause, and most are feeling the emotional, physical, and relational shifts this season brings. Sleep patterns are changing, focus feels fractured, and patience has grown thin.
Many are feeling overwhelmed, stretched beyond their capacity, and unsure how to even set boundaries without guilt.
They may also be raising preteens/teens, caregiving for aging parents, carrying the weight of everyone else’s needs, often while working a full-time job.
IF THIS SOUNDS ALL TOO FAMILIAR, THIS WORKSHOP IS HERE TO HELP YOU:
✓ release the emotional load,
✓ understand hormone-related shifts,
✓ rebuild a sense of balance and capacity in your life,
✓ rebuild your sense-of-self,
✓ create boundaries that feel strong but compassionate,
✓ get your life back by rebuilding the emotional capacity, calm, and confidence that may have slowly eroded over the last few years.
Hi, my name is Dawn: With a master’s degree in counselling psychology, over 35 years as an educator, 20 years coaching, and 14 as a therapist, my work has always centred on helping individuals find steadiness, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of agency.
I specialize in boundaries, emotional capacity, and supporting women through midlife transitions, and have created this workshop with you in mind.
My approach in this workshop will blend trauma-informed care, practical tools, and grounded, steady support and a healthy dose of humour.
So, if you’ve been feeling off, more overwhelmed, sensitive, stretched thin, carrying too much, unsure why everything feels heavier, and wondering if it’s perimenopause…
This workshop just might be the place for you!
Understanding what’s happening in your body, brain, and emotions — so this transition feels less confusing and more manageable.
