ICC for Clinics & Integrated Health Teams

Evidence-based psychoeducational tools that support follow-through for between sessions.

DESIGNED FOR PRIVATE PRACTICES, INTEGRATED HEALTH TEAMS, AND COMMUNITY-BASED MENTAL HEALTH SETTINGS.

ICC provides ready-to-use, trauma-informed resources that help clients practice skills, reflect meaningfully and maintain momentum between appointments—without adding to clinician workload.

CLINICIAN CREATED

ICC resources are developed by Dawn McKelvie Cyr, MA (Counselling Psychology), a practising therapist with more than 14 years of clinical experience and over 35 years in education.

Many of these materials have been reviewed by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and were granted 80 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) toward professional development.

Each tool is grounded in evidence-based approaches,

trauma-informed practice, and the real needs that arise in the therapy room.

How Clinics Use These Tools

ICC resources can be used by private practices, integrated health teams, and community programs to support clients between sessions. Clinicians weave them into treatment plans, assign selected pages as reflective homework, or provide full modules to help clients build insight, emotional capacity, and practical skills without requiring extra clinician time.

You can adapt the depth and pace to each client, each clinician, or each program — making ICC a flexible, ready-to-use companion to your existing therapeutic approach.

Evidence-based Tools For Real World Clinical Practice

The ICC collection brings together structured workbooks, reflective journals, communication scripts, and guided exercises created to support therapeutic goals long after clients leave the session. These tools blend psychoeducation with reflective practice, helping clients stay engaged, build skills, and maintain momentum between appointments.

Whether used as stand-alone supports or integrated into existing treatment pathways, each resource can be adapted to fit the flow and demands of your clinical setting.

Global Translation Initiative
To support inclusive care, ICC is actively translating core workbooks and guided resources into multiple languages.

The samples below offer an early preview—these are in-progress translations. Each resource will be reviewed by first-language speakers, clinicians, and cultural readers before publication.
Final versions will be released gradually as they are completed.

Additionally,

the Boundaries 101 audiobook version & guided audio meditations included in ICC bundles provide an additional layer of support for clients.

These samples demonstrate how narration is used to guide reflection, expand on concepts, regulate the nervous system, and enhance comprehension of the written resource

We are presently adding an audio component to our other resources that will be made available as part of the license purchased.

Boundaries 101 This audio preview offers a brief sample of the Boundaries 101 Audio Visual Journey, featuring guided narration drawn from the workbook. It gives listeners a sense of the tone, pacing, and reflective style used to support learning and integration. The additional context helps ideas land more fully and reduces overwhelm, and can be used with the workbook or revisited independently as understanding deepens.

Play the Boundaries 101 Audio Visual Journey

This Audio Visual Journey extends the Boundaries 101 workbook through guided narration and added clinical insight. Alongside the written exercises, it explores underlying patterns, common obstacles, and relational dynamics in greater depth.
Many listeners find the additional context helps ideas land more fully and reduces overwhelm.
The journey can be used with the workbook or revisited independently as understanding deepens.

Snoneflake on a Lake is an invitation to pause. In this meditation, I guide clients to imagine a single snowflake drifting down, landing softly on still water. It’s a practice in slowing the mind, letting thoughts settle, and noticing how even the smallest shift can ripple across your inner landscape. This reflection is here to help clients find steadiness in the middle of overwhelm — a reminder that calm can return, one breath at a time.

Trigger alert: Includes imagery of slow underwater descent. May be activating for individuals with water-related trauma.

The Spiral Staircase is a meditation for moments when your thoughts feel tangled or endless. I guide clients to imagine walking a slow, steady spiral staircase — each step bringing them down from overwhelm and back into their body. It’s a practice in grounding, in trusting that they can move at their own pace, and in remembering that calm is not something to chase — it’s something they can return to, one breath at a time.
