Dream it 〰️

Hi, my name is Dawn. With a master’s degree in counselling psychology, over 35 years as an educator, 20 years coaching, and 14 as a therapist, my work has always centred on helping individuals find steadiness, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of agency.

I specialize in boundaries, emotional capacity, and supporting women through midlife transitions, and have created this workshop with you in mind.

My approach in this workshop will blend trauma-informed care, practical tools, and grounded, steady support and a healthy dose of humour.

So, if you’ve been feeling off, more overwhelmed, sensitive, stretched thin, carrying too much, unsure why everything feels heavier, and wondering if it’s perimenopause…

This workshop just might be the place for you!

The scripts were a lifesaver.

I’ve always frozen in difficult conversations, but having the words that felt respectful and firm gave me so much confidence- it was the first time I didn’t walk away feeling guilty.”

What to Expect

WEEK 1 — What’s Happening to Me?

Understanding Perimenopause, Menopause & Postmenopause

A clear, compassionate look at what’s changing in your body and brain — and why it can feel so destabilizing.

We’ll explore:

  • Hormonal shifts and why they affect everything

  • Physical symptoms and what’s happening underneath them

  • Cognitive changes and the “I don’t feel like myself” feeling

  • Treatment options — medical, lifestyle, therapeutic

  • What’s normal and what deserves a closer look

WEEK 2 — The Midlife Nervous System

Sleep • Brain Fog • Mood Changes & Mental Health

Why menopause makes the world feel louder, heavier, and more overwhelming — and how to support yourself through it.

We’ll explore:

  • Why sleep becomes disrupted (and how this affects everything else)

  • Why everything feels “too much” during menopause

  • Brain fog, forgetfulness, and feeling mentally slowed

  • Emotional reactivity + vulnerability

  • Stress-anxiety loops and worry patterns

WEEK 3 — Emotional Capacity, Burnout & Boundaries

Rebuilding Peace of Mind in Midlife

This session focuses on the emotional load women carry — often silently — and how to reclaim your time, self-trust, and space.

We’ll explore:

  • Midlife burnout and decision fatigue

  • Why boundaries feel harder — and how to hold them

  • Saying NO without guilt

  • Rebuilding your emotional capacity and confidence

  • Steps toward a more sustainable life

3 Sessions: $249 CAD

What you can expect:

  • Each session includes:

Three live 1 hour of guided teaching sessions

    • Optional 30-minute open conversation after each session

    • A small group setting

    • Practical tools you can start applying immediately

  • Limited to the first 10 women. (Additional dates may be added.)

No pressure, no overwhelm — just a grounded space to understand your changing body, ease the emotional load, and rebuild the capacity you deserve.

These sessions are designed to help you understand what’s shifting inside you — physically, mentally, and emotionally — and to offer practical tools to steady yourself as you move through this transition.

Dawn delivered an engaging, practical presentation that resonated deeply with our audience. Her ability to connect with caregivers personally while staying professionally grounded made the session especially impactful — participants were still talking about it weeks later."
